After going through another week working for the Cannons, I was able to get used to how things ran in the office. Four guys worked for Ticket sales and were always competing with each other to see who could sell the most season tickets. They were always joking with each other and pushed one another to make a sale. This appealed to me because for most of my life, I have competed, whether that is in sports or in school. Competition is a major part of my life and being able to use that as a job later in life was comforting and exciting. Another guy, worked for Event Marketing, which was what I was apart of. He was in charge of creating events that players will attend and coach at, promoting events on social media, or selling and sending out merchandise. My jobs mostly consisted of either doing research for events (finding local newspaper companies to advertise, contacting coaches, etc.) or working on my event that would include high schools around MA and other close states, that I still haven't set my mind on an idea for. For some strange reason, I really like researching information and putting it into excel sheets. Every time I get the right information down, I feel very accomplished that I was able to help someone in the office.
